UNU Climate Resilience Initiative

The devastating floods in July 2021 in Germany, Belgium, Austria, and the Netherlands have raised a lot of concern regarding the state of prevention, preparedness, response and rehabilitation in case of natural hazards of this dimension within all states affected. Based on the fact that UNU has institutes in three of these countries, a transboundary, inter-institutional initiative was decided at director´s level.
