Lukas Koester is researcher and lab technician in the photovoltaic energy system group of the institute for renewable energy. He studied physics at the University of Düsseldorf (Germany), where he achieved a master of science in 2020. As PhD student, he is currently working on photovoltaic module inspection techniques and defect detection and evaluation methods in order to achieve a PhD in energy and nuclear science and technology from Politecnico di Milano.
