Ogni anno verso la metà di febbraio in Val Pellice, Val Chisone e Val Germanasca, nei pressi di Pinerolo, in provincia di Torino, è possibile assistere a una serie di manifestazioni che culminano nella realizzazione di fiaccolate e nell’accensione di grandi falò. Non si tratta solamente di espressioni di folklore di una popolazione alpina, ma di momenti di riflessione sulla storia della comunità politica italiana e sulla travagliata e mai conclusa definizione della cittadinanza.
