TRANSACTIONABLE will take part in By Design and by Disaster 2026, a conference hosted at BASIS Vinschgau Venosta in South Tyrol from 21 to 23 May 2026.
As part of the programme, the project will offer the 90-minute workshop “Designing Transdisciplinary Collaboration.” Drawing on the research and capacity-building work of TRANSACTIONABLE, the workshop invites participants to reflect on how collaboration itself can be designed, negotiated, and critically examined.
Through a guided role-playing simulation based on real transdisciplinary projects, participants will explore how funding frameworks, institutional requirements, power asymmetries, disciplinary hierarchies, and grassroots rhythms influence decision-making processes and shape agency.
The workshop creates a space for collective questioning, experimentation, and situated learning, contributing to TRANSACTIONABLE’s broader work on actionable knowledge for climate-just transformations.
