The CHRIS study and hypertension: snapshot of an insidious and often underrated disease

The event entitled The Cooperative Health Research in South Tyrol (CHRIS) Study in Val Venosta/Vinschgau and hypertension: snapshot of an insidious and often underrated disease is aimed at presenting the key results of the HyperProfile project regarding the prevalence of hypertension in CHRIS participants, the types of therapy prescribed and their effectiveness in lowering blood pressure.

Some new biomarkers of renin-angiotensin aldosterone system (RAAS) activity and distribution in a subgroup of participants on ACE inhibitors, sartans or beta blockers will also be presented.

The mode of presentation will be interactive, to maximize dialogue between researchers and participating clinicians on an issue of major health impact.

The event is free and open to all interested physicians.
