On the second week of november we were proud to host the ADAPTNOW fourth project meeting in Brunico and Bolzano.
We kicked off the event focusing on climate change adaptation tools developed specifically for Val Pusteria in collaboration with Lag Regional Management Pusteria Valley and the Pusteria Valley district.️ Through a field excursion to Kronplatz, we shared our adaptation tools in detail.
Following the excursion, we hosted two separate workshops at the Eurac Research Headquarters.
The first one, in cooperation with the X-RISK-CC project, explored how risk management for extreme events can be integrated into climate adaptation planning.
The second workshop, in collaboration with the Support EUSALP project, focused on Drivers and Interests in Developing Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) Strategies and Measures. The goal was to dive into the drivers, barriers, and governance dynamics essential to developing and implementing effective CCA strategies.
Thank you to all partners and participants for co-organizing these collaborative events!
