Her winning paper examined how regional MPs and citizens in six European countries (Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, France, and Poland) perceive the importance of European integration, and how aligned these views are.
Our Federal Scholar in Residence award recognizes outstanding comparative papers in the field of federalism and regionalism studies. The winner is awarded a three-week research stay at our Institute for Comparative Federalism at Eurac Research in Bolzano/Bozen. We congratulate Elisabeth Donat on her winning paper and already look forward to hosting her as a Federal Scholar in the fall of 2026.
