Advancing social inclusion of marginalised groups: local solutions and European perspectives
04.09.2025
Under the title “Advancing social inclusion of marginalised groups: local solutions and European perspectives,” the workshop will spotlight both local experiences and European-level initiatives. Participants will examine inclusive practices for vulnerable communities, including Roma populations, migrants and refugees, older adults and youth at risk of exclusion.
Through an open, participatory format, we will explore how community-driven initiatives and policy support can work hand-in-hand to foster lasting inclusion. Format: World Café
The session will take place in the format of a World Café: an informal and engaging space designed to stimulate meaningful conversations. Participants will rotate between roundtable discussions hosted by thematic experts, sharing knowledge, experiences, and practical insights in a relaxed atmosphere.
The workshop will be facilitated by Eva Varga, a social enterprise expert, who will guide the discussion and highlight the role of the social economy in fostering inclusion across Europe. Participants can expect a mix of structured input and participant-led exchange, designed to spark new ideas and connections. Participation
