Evaluation of the organisation ICIMOD in the Himalaya
Within this project, the Interregional Organization ICIMOD is being reviewed. ICIMOD is a regional intergovernmental learning and knowledge-sharing centre serving the eight member countries of the Hindu Kush Himalayan (HKH) region – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan. The purpose of the review is both to
1) Assess the performance of ICIMOD based on its approved Strategic and Results Framework in terms of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability of results.
2) Provide recommendations of how ICIMOD can improve its strategic results framework and implementation plan (MTAP) in the future.
EURAC is consortium partner and working under the lead of the consultancy firm AECOM. Our role is particularly to assess ICIMOD’s scientific strategies and activities. The output is a final report. The project enables us to build up a personal network with ICIMOD.
