Large Carnivores

Large carnivores (LC) are wide ranging wildlife species that play a crucial role in ecosystem structure, health and function. South Tyrol, like other European and Italian mountain regions, is facing new issues emerging from the natural return or reintroduction of LC’s species (Wolf and Brown Bear) in their original environment. Eurac Research wants to play a neutral role regarding these issues and give to local people and stakeholders the opportunity to create their own opinion.
