Short bio
Badr-Eddine Sebbar is a postdoctoral researcher at Eurac Research since 2025, working at the intersection of remote sensing, hydrology, and climate science. From 2020 to 2024, he completed a jointly supervised PhD between Morocco and France, specializing in evapotranspiration (ET) modeling and energy balance processes in mountainous regions. His research focuses on adapting inputs to ET models in complex terrains and addressing topographic and meteorological challenges in steep, data-scarce environments through the integration of thermal and optical satellite data with surface modeling.
