Daily Snow Water Equivalent (SWE) time-series for the Venosta Valley at 50 m spatial resolution - 2017 to 2022
Premier V, Ciapponi N, Zvolenský J, Zellner PJ, Marin C
General Description
The dataset contains daily Snow Water Equivalent (SWE) time-series at 50 m spatial resolution for five hydrological seasons spanning from 1st October 2017 to 30th September 2022. The dataset is based on remote sensing data (Sentinel-2, MODIS) that are merged together to achieve high spatial and temporal detail, as well as in-situ data (temperature and snow depth). The SWE is reconstructed by using a degree-day model. The dataset can be used in many applications like hydrological modeling, water resource management or hydropower planning.
