Façades play a key role in ensuring the comfort, energy efficiency and environmental quality of buildings. However, their performance is usually assessed using indicators and evaluation methods that are insufficient to provide a complete picture of how a facade behaves. What tools are currently available to measure, simulate and monitor the behaviour of facades?

This event presents new measurement methodologies, digital design tools, advanced simulation models and solutions for façade monitoring developed as part of the EU ERDF FAIR project by Eurac Research, the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, GlassAdvisor and CAEmate.

The event, organised in collaboration with SFE Italy Hub, is aimed at designers, consultants, manufacturers, contractors and industry professionals, and will feature technical presentations, a tour of the experimental laboratories at Eurac Research and the Free University of Bolzano, and a networking session dedicated to dialogue between research and industry.
