As part of REbuild’s main programme, Francesco Babich will take part in the session “Decarbonisation as a driver of efficiency for social and environmental sustainability”, with a presentation focusing on the role of testing, pilot schemes and living labs in reducing risks and supporting innovation in the construction sector. The presentation will outline the approach developed within the MEZeroE project.

“From ideas to market-ready building solutions: benefits for housing”
A conference dedicated to MEZeroE, to discuss how new solutions for the building envelope can move from the testing phase to application on real buildings, particularly in the residential sector. Using concrete examples, the session will explore how test facilities and real-world demonstration environments can support performance evaluation, risk reduction and more informed decision-making prior to market launch.

A workshop dedicated to the ZERAF project, aimed at real estate professionals, investors, developers, property owners and managers interested in understanding how adaptive façades, capable of actively managing thermal flows, can transform the building envelope into a dynamic system and contribute to new models of living and the creation of value in real estate assets.
