Test your façade component and prototypes in a set of Eurac Research laboratories
The laboratory allows the study, on a real scale, of the influence of these systems on perceived and measured comfort.
Credit: Eurac Research | Annelie BortolottiAre you a manufacturer or company in the building envelope sector looking to validate and optimize your innovative products? We are accepting applications for state-of-the-art testing and open innovation services under attractive conditions.
How does it work? You can test your prototype in a set of Eurac Research laboratories that enables to evaluate thermal properties of opaque and transparent components, chemical emissions from materials, hygrothermal properties, global façade performances in full scale test buildings, and more. If the assessment you're looking for is not covered by our labs, you can take advantage of the facilities of our partners, that are universities and research centers across Europe. You may also receive support for the certification and market entry of your product.
To apply: Send your application with a description of your envelope product or system, why it is innovative, and what is the specific need you would like to cover.
Costs: The testing services are free of charge for selected companies. However, you will need to cover: prototype production, shipping costs, and any specific items not covered in the open call agreement.
Deadline: The open call ends on the 25th of April. After the deadline, all requests will be analyzed, and if pre-selected you will be invited for a meeting to better understand your needs before making the final selection.
