Innovation in building envelopes: “Façade Forward” online course

How can innovative façade technologies move from laboratory research to real buildings, safely, reliably and at scale?

This is a question we try to answer in Façade Forward, the final module of the OpenFace Façade Education programme, an online course developed together by TU Delft, TU Darmstadt and Eurac Research.

The course brings together research, testing and real‑world application to explore how façade innovation can support sustainable building renovation.

Within façade Forward, Eurac Research contributes a series of videos drawing on three European research and innovation projects: MEZeroE, INFINITE and ZERAF Each project in the dedicated video shows a different step in the validation and deployment of advanced façade solutions.

The course starts on 15 April 2026 and is available online, through registration.
