Wolfram Sparber presents project NEST at the Made in Italy Innovation Forum from 23 to 25 June in Cernobbio
The Made in Italy Innovation Forum, held from June 23rd to 25th, 2025 at Villa Erba in Cernobbio, brought together leading figures from various sectors to promote national innovation and create a sustainable, circular ecosystem.
Scheduled from 17:30 to 19:00, Sparber's presentation is going to focus on the crucial role of NEST project in driving sustainable energy solutions. The NEST initiative aims to foster collaboration among research institutions, businesses, and government agencies, ensuring a cohesive approach to energy sustainability. The presentation will focus on the energy transition based on low-cost renewable electrical energy, on the processes that need to be accelerated in the Italian context, and on the potential economic impact that this transition would generate.
Other topics that Sparber is going to talk about are: heating with renewable energy, district heating and heat pumps, electromobility, with the consequent reduction in dependence on fossil fuels, BIPV and agrivoltaics, their role in Italy and within the Italian supply chain.
