EU LIFE 2021 BuildUPspeed - Introducing a Market Activation Platform to speed up Deep Renovation of EU building stock, enhanced by attractive, high quality Industrialized Solutions, offering evidence-based performances.
The overall objective of BuildUPspeed is to accelerate the volume and depth of EU building stock renovation by supporting the EU renovation wave and the promotion and implementation of industrialised renovation solutions.
BuildUPspeed will develop an activation platform for energy renovation market, promotion and implementation of industrialised renovation solutions by capitalising the results of previous EU projects. In particular, it will focus on the development of modular, replicable and prefabricated solutions, through the development of renovation kits for the building envelope, based on the concept of industrialisation (Industry 4.0 and integration of BIM), the circular use of materials, and key strategies to improve production processes, and resource efficiency in the construction and retrofitting of buildings.
