Land Consolidation in Mountain Areas

With some exceptions, the fragmentation of the land characterizes most of the Italian and European mountainous areas. The research investigates both the positive and negative impacts of this phenomenon on the territory and on society in order to support innovative policies and projects of land consolidation that allow to overcome the bottlenecks to regional development processes created by fragmentation.
