LIFE24-CET-PROSPECT CUBE

The general objective of PROSPECT CUBE is to offer a tested and robust capacity building programme (CBP) based on peer-to-peer (P2P) exchanges to equip LRAs with the right competences to implement their sustainable energy actions not relying solely on public funding but rather leveraging the use of private capital by using innovative financing schemes and enabling structures (such as one-stopshops, energy agencies, energy communities). The PROSPECT CBP is tailored to the needs and constraints of LRAs and is offered in a variety of languages (8 EU languages covering 12 EU MS) to overcome language barriers and in different modules, which are easily adaptable to the time availabilities of public officials.Thanks to its scale and its capacity to reach very small LRAs located all over Europe, PROSPECT CUBE intends to position itself as an entry point to a wide range of EU programmes and funding opportunities for those LRAs who have limited knowledge or overview of what is on offer. Finally, PROSPECT CUBE will collec needs of LRAs of the ground and feed information to EU and national policy makers, on top of delivering useful information to LRAs on policy development at EU and national levels. PROSPECT CUBE intends to engage 500 LRAs in the PROSPECT community, of which 356 will actively engage in the PROSPECT learning programme and advanced mentoring.PROSPECT CUBE builds on two successful initiatives – H2020 PROSPECT (2017-2020) and H2020 PROSPECT+ (2022-2025, hwww.h2020prospect.eu), which over the past 8 years have enabled over 400 cities and regions to develop and enhance their capacities and skills. The consortium is composed of 3 knowledge hubs (IEECP, EURAC,UPRC), 2 EU networks (FEDARENE and ENC) and 7 internal mentors (ESV, AURA-EE, AESS, TEA, VAL, SEMMO, ENERGAP - LRAs (or energy agencies) with extensive experience in implementing sustainable energy measures using innovative financing schemes or enablers).
