Luoghi Comuni / GEMEINschaftsPLÄTZE
The project Luoghi Comuni / GEMEINschaftsPLÄTZE addresses housing exclusion in South Tyrol, with particular attention to people with a migrant background and in situations of multiple marginalisation. In a context characterised by strong pressure on the housing market, fragmented service provision and increasing complexity of social needs, the project promotes an integrated and multi-level support model based on collaboration between Caritas Bolzano-Bressanone, public services, third-sector organisations and volunteers.
Eurac Research is responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the project, adopting a multi-level approach (micro–meso–macro) that jointly analyses individual pathways, casework processes and the dynamics of the local network. The monitoring activity primarily relies on a qualitative approach, supported by targeted quantitative tools, with particular attention to processes and forms of collaboration among local actors, in line with the social innovation framework.
The methodological approach builds on previous project experience, including FSE+ projects (Go Housing, MeWo), and is further informed by approaches developed within the European projects H2020 SIMRA and Horizon Europe SERIGO. The monitoring contributes both to the improvement of local practices and to the broader debate on migration, housing and social innovation.
The project is funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) within the framework of the ESF+ 2021–2027 Programme of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol “Investments for employment and growth”.
