Sinerg-IA: Digital Twin, AI and Forecasting for the Synergistic Management of Renewable Energy Communities
The project develops an advanced cognitive Digital Twin platform for Renewable Energy Communities (RECs), integrating multi-agent artificial intelligence, conversational interfaces, and blockchain technologies to enable distributed energy management. The solution addresses the objectives of the PNIEC 2030, overcoming current limitations of RECs and transforming them into autonomous, intelligent, and interoperable ecosystems.
The system introduces key innovations, including the automatic generation of Digital Twins through AI, multi-agent cognitive architectures for the optimization of energy flows, LLM-based conversational interfaces, and blockchain technologies to ensure traceability and enable participation in local energy markets.
Eurac Research plays a central role within the consortium, contributing its scientific excellence in distributed energy resource integration, artificial intelligence, energy optimization, and advanced modeling. Eurac supports the development of predictive algorithms and cognitive architectures. Validation on real Renewable Energy Communities will demonstrate tangible benefits in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and reduced deployment time, positioning Italy as a leader in digital energy innovation.
