Elia Zaru
Elia Zaru (PhD, Scuola Normale Superiore) is a political theorist and historian of political thought specializing in modern and contemporary political theory. His research explores the relationship between temporality and politics, as well as the political traditions of republicanism, constitutionalism, and Marxism, and the conceptual histories of sovereignty, globalization, and modernity. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow and adjunct professor at the University of Milan. In addition to articles published in journals such as Theoria, Filosofia politica, Rethinking Marxism, and Historical Materialism, he is the author of From the Factory to the World (Brill, 2026) and Crisi della modernità (ETS, 2022).
