INFINITE final conference at Renovation Days

From 26 to 28 November 2025, Milan will host the third edition of the Renovation Days, the leading event in Italy dedicated to innovative solutions for the decarbonisation of the built environment.

This year’s edition will host the final conference of the Horizon 2020 INFINITE project, coordinated by Eurac Research.

Launched in 2020, INFINITE is a Horizon 2020 research and innovation project focusing on transforming the way Europe renovates its buildings by shifting from slow, bespoke retrofits to industrialised, digitalised, and sustainable renovation processes. The conference will show the results of five years of collaborative work on industrialised deep renovation.

During the conference, researchers from Eurac Research's group Energy Efficient Building will present the prefabricated façade kits integrating ventilation, energy, and renewable systems, that have been used in real demo cases in Italy and Slovenia, as well as digital tools to accelerate and optimise large-scale renovation.

Renovation Days 2025 welcomes an international audience of construction professionals, social housing managers, researchers, and policymakers, featuring talks, technical sessions, networking events, and site visits to some of the most innovative renovation projects in Italy.

The event is promoted by Eurac Research, EDERA, offsite renovation and national partner of the Energiesprong initiative, and EFN – European Façade Network, in collaboration with REbuild andFACE - Façade Architecture Construction and Engineering Course, the training course on facades by Eurac Research.

Day 1: dedicated to scenarios, visions, and policies. Italian, European, and international perspectives on climate change and the housing crisis:

Day 2: Technical focus with the experts of the European Façade Network and the H2020 INFINITE project.

Day 3: Reserved for FACE Training Course students.
