Among the test facilities of Eurac Research at NOI Techpark several laboratories can be used to test charging stations, vehicle components and full vehicles under extreme climatic conditions.
The vehicle testing is preformed within the TerraXCube and can include battery electric and plug in hybrid electric vehicles. The climatic chamber for accelerated life testing in the laboratory of the Institute for Renewable Energy can be instead used for testing smaller components.
Battery charging cycles can be performed in combination with electronic loads.
