We analyse decarbonization scenarios based on rigorous quantitative analysis, integrating all energy sectors to identify the most effective technological and economic solutions.

What we offer

High-resolution multi-sector simulations
Integrated hourly modelling of electricity, heat, transport and industry with detailed technical and economic analyses and development of decarbonization scenarios for 2030, 2040 and 2050.

Multi-objective optimization
Multi-objective optimization analysis to better support policy makers and identify the optimal energy mix, size storage systems and define energy efficiency measures consistent with climate neutrality objectives.

Economic assessment and macro-impacts
Coupling with macroeconomic models to quantify the effects of new technologies, energy carriers and investment policies on employment, GDP and economic balance.

Tools that can be handed over to the public administration
Development of open-source, transparent, and substantiated models that enable public bodies to independently update scenarios and maintain energy plans over time.

Participative approach
Active involvement of administrators, technicians and stakeholders from the initial stages to define shared hypotheses, objectives and priorities, ensuring realistic and implementable scenarios.

Who we work with
Municipalities, regions, national administrations, network operators and public transport operators that need to plan the energy transition on a local or national scale. We work with public bodies seeking robust, transparent and applicable scientific tools, and with industrial partners who want to integrate renewable sources, energy efficiency and storage into their strategic plans.

Decarbonization of mobility

We design integrated strategies for transport electrification, from charging infrastructure to smart fleet management, supporting the transition to zero-emission mobility.

What we offer

Charging infrastructure planning
Spatial analysis and modeling for the optimal positioning of public and private charging stations, network sizing, and assessment of hourly energy requirements.

Electrification of public transport
Simulation and optimization of electric fleets (buses, municipal vehicles) with analysis of routes, consumption, charging strategies, and impacts on the electricity grid.

Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) integration
Modeling of V2G and Vehicle-to-Home systems to use vehicle batteries as distributed storage, increasing the flexibility of the electrical system.

Experimental validation
Testing of batteries, charging systems, and V2G technologies in the laboratory and in energy community pilot projects, with continuous performance monitoring.

Who we work with
Municipalities and metropolitan areas to project sustainable mobility and charging infrastructure. Public transport companies and fleet managers for fleet electrification. Electricity network operators, charging infrastructure developers and energy communities for Vehicle-to-Grid integration and shared electric mobility projects.
